Call for Workshops

22nd ACM Asia Conference on Computer and Communications Security July 12-16, 2027 Macau

The organizing committee of ACM ASIACCS 2027 invites proposals for workshops to be held alongside the main conference in Macau. Workshops provide a focused forum for emerging andspecialized topics in computer and communications security that may be too narrow, new, orinterdisciplinary for the main conference track, while still being of high interest to the broader ASIACCS community.

Scope and Format

Workshops are expected on July 13, 2027, alongside the main conference, and may run as a full-day or half -day event, depending on the organizers' preference and expected level of interest. Wewelcome proposals on emerging and high-impact topics in cybersecurity, including but not limited toAl and machine learning security, applied cryptography, systems and hardware security, privacy, blockchain and distributed systems, and human-centered security.

Accepted workshops will have their proceedings published separately in the ACM Digital Library andmade available to attendees during the conference. Page limits for individual workshop papers are atthe discretion of the workshop organizers, though final camera-ready submissions must not exceed12 pages using the latest ACM Sigconf template.

Submission Requirements

Workshop proposals should be submitted as a single PDF file to asiaccs2027-workshopchairs@acm.org and should include the following information:

  • Workshop title and a draft Call for Papers
  • A summary of the workshop's topic and justification for its relevance to the ASIACCS community
  • Proposed length (full-day or half-day), format, and tentative agenda
  • Expected number of submissions, anticipated acceptance rate, and expected attendance
    (including historical data from prior editions of the workshop, if applicable)
  • Names and one-paragraph biographies of the workshop's program chairs and all organizers
  • Plans for publishing workshop proceedings

Evaluation Criteria

Workshop proposals will be evaluated based on:

  • Relevance and importance to the computer and communications security community
  • Novelty and timeliness of the proposed topic
  • Potential to attract community interest and engagement
  • The research standing and organizing experience of the proposed organizers

Organizers are free to adjust their own workshop's internal deadlines, provided the final camera-ready deadline above is met so that proceedings can be prepared in time for the conference.
